The Cisco SRE-V on UCS Express has been categorized for multisite organizations with a centralized HQ/IT Infrastructure that support hosted applications locally in the branch office for performance, survivability, and/or compliance. In an era where Cloud computing and server virtualization are the norm, "survivability" within the enterprise is critical. An application which has survivability is easily virtualized and capable of withstanding partial or total failures; catastrophe related or otherwise without significantly impairing its normal operations. Survivability is an important subset of both server virtual ization and a complete DR strategy.
It is often a differentiating factor when choosing locally hosted, private, hybrid or public cloud application(s). Solution briefs that provide more information regarding SRE-V integration and Sagemcom can be downloaded here.
